In this topic, you must be able to startup and shutdown the database via Grid Control.
Do this using the main database screen.
Try to startup the database in restricted mode and change it later (only using the EM) to non restricted. This is a good practice!

Hi Rodrigo,
Let's assume dbsnmp is granted RESTRICTED SESSION privilege. Having said that I will be able to perform actions on database thru Grid Control while database is in restricted mode. How will I be able to take it out of Restricted? They only idea I have is to Execute SQL in OEM:
ALTER SYSTEM DISABLE RESTRICTED SESSION;
Do you have better method?

I'm pretty sure that what you described is the method I used! (can't remember very well as the last time I did that already have a time) =]
