Every patch is different from another, so there is no rule for applying a patch. You need to read the doc before! Don't simply do an "apply patch" w/o reading it before (I just underline it because I know some people that like to read it after, when things are already messed up)!
So for this chapter, all you can practice are some "opatch" things to speed up opatch, like:
- Using napply
- How to create an OCM response file for opatch silent installation (Note 966023.1)
Off course, I hope you already know how to list the actual installed patches.
One good way to practice opatch for the exam is applying the agent PSU, grid control PSU and database PSU that I mentioned to download in Download the Exam Environment.
