Backup is an art. It's very important to check the SLA and create a total failure recover plan whenever you setup a new DB instance.
If you are a OCP, you must already know that. So, in this topic, practice creating backups:
- Backup full / incremental
- If Incremental, diferential / cumulative
- Compressed in different levels
- Setup retention to Windows or Redundancy (or Keep Forever)
- Recover copy of database (useful to fast switch to a backup and then recover)
- Define disk rate / minimize load / etc
