Oracle ACFS files systems are typically configured for clusterwide access. File systems, files, and directories are visible and accessible from all cluster members and can be referenced by users and applications using the same path names from any cluster member.
This is a good way to also implement a unique Oracle Database Home shared in your envs.
Here what you need to do is creating a Volume and ACFS using:
- Enterprise Manager
- asmcmd
- asmca (Preferable for me)
- SQLPlus
- acfsutils registry
Also, create an snapshot and restore it after you add some files and make some changes.
